The 54-year-old was taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations agents on 16 September and charged the next day with grave charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. Despite pleading not guilty, Diddy has been denied bail on two occasions.

Despite the constraints of incarceration, the rapper has reportedly been able to maintain contact with his loved ones. Diddy is a father to seven children by four different mothers, including Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, 26, twins Chance, 18, Jessie, and D’Lila, 17, and Love, who is just 23 months old.

A source close to the situation told People that Diddy is extremely anxious about his children while he’s locked up. The insider revealed: “He is very concerned about his kids and their well-being.

“He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated,” reports the Mirror.

A source close to the situation revealed that Diddy’s children are all in a state of ‘crisis and shock’ following his arrest. “It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in. This is their father. But to them, he’s not Diddy – he’s Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.”

Diddy is the proud father of Christian, Jessie and D’Lila, who he had with late model and actress Kim Porter, who tragically passed away in 2018 at the age of 47. Quincy was Porter’s son with Al B. Sure!, and Combs later adopted him. He then had son Justin with stylist Misa Hylton, and Chance with businesswoman Sarah Chapman.

In December 2022, Diddy celebrated the birth of his youngest child, daughter Love, with model Dana Tran. This news comes as it’s reported that Diddy is receiving no special treatment while facing charges in one of America’s most notorious prisons. An insider told the magazine about how Diddy is being treated, stating: “He is being treated like any other detainee awaiting trial.”

They also mentioned that the star was “placed on suicide watch upon admittance to the facility as a precaution” as per protocol for high-profile inmates. Attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny R Geragos, who represent Combs, have slammed the conditions of the Brooklyn prison as “not fit for pre-trial detention” in an unsuccessful bail bid, branding them “horrific”.

Rapper Combs is facing charges from prosecutors for allegedly organizing improper ‘freak off’ parties, said to include sexual activities with prostitutes and purportedly coerced participation from women.

Back in March, federal officers raided Combs’ residences in Miami and Los Angeles, leading to the current accusations stemming from a series of legal claims against him over the past year, related to alleged sexual misconduct. Combs has staunchly refuted all claims, pleading not guilty to each accusation, with his next court date scheduled for early October.

His defence team, speaking to People, have emphasised that he is “strong, healthy, and focused on his defence”, adding: “He is committed to fighting this case and has full confidence in both his legal team and the truth.”
